Windows Based Machine Vision Systems
and Special Image Processing Systems
Phoenix Imaging offers three image processing systems designed for setup and
operation using Microsoft® Windows XP Pro, Windows
Vista Business or
Windows 7 Pro environments.
These are very capable machine vision systems designed for the most difficult
machine vision applications. A long list of functionality features and
ability to customize the vision system and the vision software to meet the
demands of the customer make this an attractive solution.
The PVS-80 is our lowest cost Windows based image processing system.
It provides capabilities from the standard 2 channel analog
RS-170 image acquisition
board to advanced digital camera boards. The system
provides 2 analog input sensor channels,
24 lines of digital I/O, 3.0 GHz
Intel Core2 Duo,
minimum 1 GB DDR2 memory,
500 GB hard drive, Windows
7 Pro and VisionMaker™ Development System for Epix
SV5 board. All
of this is packaged in a NEMA 12 industrial grade enclosure for $10,995.00 US.
The industrial computer is constructed using a passive backplane with 4 PCI
slots, 4 PCI-e slots and 2 computer slots (Single
Board Computer (SBC) requires 2 slot widths). The
SBC has 2 SATA2- ports, 1
floppy, 2 serial (RS-232), 4 USB (2.0) ports, 1 parallel port and
Dual GB Ethernet ports
onboard.
Several Base System configurations are available depending on our application
requirements.
PVS-100: Base System Level 1 - provides 1
digital input sensor channels
(CameraLink), 24 lines of digital I/O, 3.0 GHz
Intel Core2 Duo,
minimum 2 GB DDR2 memory,
500 GB hard drive, Windows
7 Pro and VisionMaker™ Development System for Epix
CL1 board. All
of this is packaged in a NEMA 12 industrial grade enclosure for $12,495.00 US.
The industrial computer is constructed using a passive backplane with 4 PCI
slots, 4 PCI-e slots and 2 computer slots (Single
Board Computer (SBC) requires 2 slot widths). The
SBC has 2 SATA2- ports, 1
floppy, 2 serial (RS-232), 4 USB (2.0) ports, 1 parallel port and

onboard.
PVS-100: Base System Level 2 - provides
Dual
CameraLink digital
input for sensors,
24 lines of digital I/O, 3.0 GHz
Intel Core2 Duo, 4 GB DDR2 dual channel memory,
750 GB hard drive, Windows 7 Pro and VisionMaker™ Development System for Epix
CL2 board. The industrial computer is constructed using a passive backplane
with 4 PCI slots, 4 PCI-e slots and 2 computer slots (SBC requires
2 slot widths). The single board computer has 2 SATA2 ports, 1
floppy, 2 serial (RS-232), 4 High speed USB (2.0) ports,
1 parallel port and (2) fast 10/100/1000 MHz Ethernet
ports onboard. All units are packaged in a NEMA 12 industrial grade enclosure for
$13,695.00 US.
This package will support either USB, Gig-E or CameraLink sensors.
Option to Add a second Camera-Link Upgrade to PVS-100-D with
2 GB DDR Memory is $1,595.00 U.S.
The PVS-200-2 is our most versatile Windows based image processing
system. The PVS-200 provides parallel Windows based image processing systems.
It provides capabilities from performing multiple inspections from a single
vision system enclosure. Base systems provides a
connection to PCI-e (PCI-Express) image processing boards.
The PCI-e boards allow much faster data transfer for dual
port sensors such as the large format area cameras or large line scan sensors
(>6 K).
It provides capabilities from the standard dual channel
CameraLink inoputs, Gig-E, Firewire or USB 2.0 image
acquisition channels capable of supporting 2
simultaneous sensors. Base systems provide a
minimum 24 lines of digital I/O,
fast CPU's (3.2 GHz Intel
Core2 Quad Host processors with
a minimum of 4GB DDR2
dual channel memory, 1
TB hard drive
and VisionMaker™ Development System. All of this is packaged in a NEMA
12 industrial grade enclosure for less than $16,995.00 US.
The PVS-200-06 is designed to tackle the very
difficult applications that require a great deal of processing power.
Applications such as surface inspection and porosity inspection on machined
metal parts, high resolution dimensional measurement systems (3.2 - 16 MB sensor
images), True Position Measurements on machined components and high speed
particle detection and measurement systems.
