SHARP IV-S210X High Resolution Compact Machine Vision System

This is the latest member of the Sharp IVS family of products.  It is available for use with either standard precision sensors (512 x 480 pixels)  or high precision sensors (1600 x 1200 pixels).  The system provides all of the design and functionality that you expect from a Sharp product.  This provides very high resolution at a very economical price point.  Phoenix Imaging offers the unit for sale in either a System Integrator Kit (IV-S210X) or as a industrial pre-packaged system (PVS-210).

The controller has a compact size but a powerful image processor lies beneath the surface.  The system is complete is 16 digital inputs and 16 digital outputs, PLC functions with 16 counters and 16 timers.  Ethernet, RS-232C and a compact flash slot for additional memory.

The system supports two (2) cameras and each can be triggered independently so that the processor can handle two applications at one time.  The cameras are triggered with an independent high-speed input (with interrupt).

The large format sensor image, 1600 x 1200 pixels, provides 10-bit grayscale capability for reliable edge detection and defect isolation.
